Nurses in the local community and there jobs.
District Nurses
Their job includes checking temperatures, blood pressures, making sure you have taken injections, they take care patients, and giving people their medication and visit homes.
School Nurses
They look after the children in the school, supporting parents, and checking the children’s hair for head lice.
Staff Nurses
They check blood transfusion and emergencies, looking after people in hospital, checking for drugs and if you have had an injection.
Practise Nurses
Their work in GP surgeries and do things like, children’s injections, help with caring for people with long term diseases, asthma, diabetes, heart disease and high blood pressure.
Health visitors
These people visit people that need help, help homeless, supporting each other, making people give up smoking and dealing with health.
