Grammar Schools in Redbridge

Unfortunately, Redbridge only has two grammar schools, Ilford County High School for boys and Woodford County High School for girls.

Parents can not just apply for these school and expect your child to go there, you child has to take an exam entitled as 11+ and if your child does not pass this specific exam, your child can not be accepted to the school you want them to go to.

Private schools

Private schools are schools that are NOT run by the Government. Parents have to pay each term for their child to be accepted.

There are quite a lot of private schools in Redbridge. Some of them are for girls and boys.

Ilford Ursuline ,Avon House School ,Woodford Green Preparatory School, Winston House Preparatory School ,Park school for girls, Beehive Preparatory, Cranbrook College for boys, Ilford Preparatory


Catholic Schools
There six, if not more, Catholic school in Redbridge. These schools mostly accept children that are catholic but some do accept Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs and etc.

Here is a list of some of the schools:
Canon Palmer Catholic school, The Chadwell Heath Foundation School, Ilford Ursuline Catholic School, King Solomon High School, Trinity Catholic School, and Mayfield School.

All of these schools are High Schools.
