The NHS (National Health Service) is a 24 hour service that work seven days a week. If you have an emergency you will need to call the following number: 999 (for Emergencies ONLY) and NHS Direct: 0845 4647.This will automatically transfer you the nearest NHS (National Health Service) from your location. There is one hospital in Redbridge - King George Hospital.
There are three other hospitals that are out side Redbridge that you may attend. They are Queen’s Hospital (located in Romford), Whipps Cross Hospital (located in Waltham Forest), and Newham General Hospital (located in Newham)
There are Nurse Help lines which you can contact by calling (number on Redbridge website (www.redbridge.gov.uk)for help when you are in distress, pain, providing confidential advice on healthcare.
