11 + in Redbridge

If you would like to attend a grammar school or a school of a high standard you will have to take an exam called 11+. You will have two exams, verbal and non verbal to get into the school you have applied for.

The girl’s grammar school is called Woodford County and the boy’s school is Ilford County. When you have taken the test they put the scores in order and they count out 120, and the first 120 get a place in Woodford county or Ilford County.

11+ is an optional exam you take it in a different school to the school you attend. Your parents and head teacher have to fill or sign a form to make sure they know your taking the test and to fill in any allergies, health problems and any other concerns your they have.

After you have done everything choose the dates for the exam then you take the exam and see if you have passed or failed. If you are taking your 11+ GOOD LUCK!
