Leisure in Redbridge

Arts in parks

The art development team provide entertainment such as: Arts, Music and performances. Every summer they have an interesting event where people all around Redbridge perform.

Museums and Galleries

We are very lucky to have a local museum in Redbridge. The Museum opened in October 2000. There are many interesting and exciting exhibits, which cover the age of Redbridge. You can learn many fascinating things by touching things, and hearing voices and sounds from the past. There is also a friendly children’s trail. Children can discover the shape of Redbridge, architecture and landscape that they see around them today. There are also fun and free education sessions for the national curriculum, school groups and resources for teachers. Finally there are family fun Saturdays where you can drop by any time.

Sports

Redbridge sports team organise a variety of sporting events for youths, such as: swimming galas, East London mini Marathon, Redbridge mini games, and London youth games. 2008 was Redbridge’s rewarding season for the successful sport events.
